Overview
The Input Scrubber works by scrubbing user generated content of:
- Javascript
- HTML
- CSS
The scrubber is a very useful and powerful tool, but it should be used with caution. It has the power to disable normal site functionality if set improperly. Please speak with your Project Manager to determine how best to make use of this feature on your site.
Categories of UGC covered by the filter

| profile_scrub_options | All user defined profile field responses. |
| blog_scrub_options | All blog post content. |
| comments_scrub_options | All comment content on the social network. This does not include comments posted through the commenting widget. |
| calendar_scrub_options | All calendar events and gatherings. |
| messages_scrub_options | All private messages. |
| default_scrub_options | All user generated content not covered in the above choices. This includes forum posts, wiki pages, polls, surveys, articles, the sandbox module, etc. |
