A sticky thread will stay at the top of a thread list regardless of whether or not there are newer threads.

This allows forum moderators the ability to ensure their users are presented with certain threads first.

Many networks have specific style requirements when it comes to the look and feel of their forums. The sticky thread image is set as a background element through CSS so that clients may overwrite the ONEsite default image with one of their own.
