Overview
The moderator settings page allows you to specify settings related to what moderators can and can’t do.
- Tiers Allowed to View Private Profiles: Users in these tiers will be able to view private user’s profiles.
- Tiers Allowed to Moderate Comments: Users in these tiers will see the content teardown menu for comments.
- Tiers Allowed to Moderate Photos: Users in these tiers will see the content teardown menu for photos.
- Tiers Allowed to Moderate Videos: Users in these tiers will see the content teardown menu for videos.
- Tiers Allowed to Moderate Blog Posts: Users in these tiers will see the content teardown menu for blog posts.
- Email Addresses who will receive alerts when content is flagged: These email addresses will receive email alerts when content is flagged on your network. Separate by commas.
- Advanced Moderation Menu User Options: Use this option to specify which items to display in the content tear down menu for normal users.
- Advanced Moderation Menu Moderator Options: Use this option to specify which items to display in the content tear down menu for network moderators.
- Advanced Moderation Menu Admin Options: Use this option to specify which items to display in the content tear down menu for network administrators.
- Allow the moderator teardown menu: This turns the content moderation menu on/off. Set this field to 1 to activate or 0 to turn off.
- Require moderators to provide a justification when deleting forum content and warning users. Set this to 1 to require moderators to provide reasoning when deleting forum content and warning users via the content teardown menu.
- Moderation Justification Reasons (CSV): This is a comma seperated list of reasons a moderator can provide for deleting forum content and warning users.
- Email Addresses who will receive alerts when forum content is deleted or a user is warned. A comma seperated list of email addresses who will receive alerts when forum content is deleted or a user is warned.
- Disable Flagging Content While Logged Out: Set to 1 to disable the ability for users to flag content while logged out.
- Premoderation Content Types (avatar, comment, photo, video, discussion_post): Content types to premoderate on the network.
