Overview

The Forum Settings page allows a network administrator the ability to customize nearly every feature of the ONEsite Forums system.

Forum Settings is accessed through the Control Panel at Plugins > Forums.

Settings on this page are divided into 4 categories:

• General or network wide settings
• Forum level settings
• Thread level settings
• Post level settings

General Settings

• Disable new forum post creation
• Search
• Breadcrumbs
• Jump Menu
• Current Conversations
• RSS Feeds
• Who’s Online

Forum Settings

• Message option when new threads have been made since last visit

Thread Settings

• Display thread pagination on forum/view
• Show “started by” on forum/view
• Message option when new posts have been made since last visit
• Unread thread options
• Display order for posts
• Character lengths for thread titles and breadcrumbs
• Number of posts to display on reply page
• Hot thread options

• Allow Quick Reply
• Allow users to edit/delete their own posts
• Include media in quotes
• Quote nesting limits
